Teaser Trailer for defunct animation project “SABAH”

“Sabah” was a short film directed by Luca Vitale and made in collaboration with artists Matt Carter and Vasili Zorin. The above featured teaser trailer from 2014 (full credits here) is the sole result of a project, which has since been mentioned by Luca to be ”…on hiatus unfortunately, not dead but not so alive either. I will resuscitate it if I can.” (commented early 2016).

A real pity, as it looks pretty amazing, flavoured like “Tekkonkinkreet“ by Michael Arias x Studio 4°C, which I adored! Specifically the attention paid to the environment design, and as well the “stylised” depiction of humanoid forms in relation to said environment.
